Once on a small walkway with a red chest, activate the Control Rod Assembly. Either way, when the coast is clear, head South out of this larger room for now. You can either move as far South as possible to avoid inciting the violence of the nearby Monobots, or you can move into the room to fight them now instead of later. Head South, and you'll be entering into a much larger room. Through the next forcefield, you can take out the next few enemies, and grab the chest in the upper corner as well. Be careful hacking if you have 4 CyberDeck Upgrades or more though, as you can start the detonation timer on the barrels when you hack now. Once through the forcefield, break the crates and vending machines to get some stuff. There aren't many enemies to deal with here, so use your cover and then move forward. Move into the room with a divide cut out of the middle, and take note of nearby cover that you can take as you move up on a few more combatants. This will start taking you towards the power controls. Once defeated, look out for E77 Superior rifles on the ground so that you can use an energy weapon, before heading to the top-right to access the Auxiliary Cooling System.įrom the system panel, head to the right down a walkway. Use the cover around you, like the pillars, to control how many enemies are a threat at once, and also remain vigilant to more Monobot's approaching from the doorway you just passed through. You'll find yourself in a cool blue room with more combatants ahead. Take out the Monobots and their backup, before moving to the upper-right to find the Cooling Control. You might not have an energy weapon yet, but if you do have one, or if you pick one up soon, it's definitely worth it to equip it to at least one of your slots, so you can swap back between ballistic and energy damage types.īecause they don't take as much damage to ballistic fire, try using your LT aim more to stun your opponents, giving yourself more time where you are under less pressure. These Light Monobot's are like your standard goons for hire, except because they're mechanical, they take less damage to ballistics weapon fire, and more damage from energy weapon fire. Pass through a few forcefields, break a few crates, and then keep moving down the walkway in front of you towards a new type of enemy. Take out the groups of Ferals as they approach you, and don't be afraid to use those explosives nearby to help yourself out. Keep heading to the upper-right towards the Cooling Control. On the map, it looks like there are a number of collectibles nearby but most of them are blocked for now. Break all the crates, open all the lockers, and then head into the facility. You are now in RBM-5, and you've got a whole laundry list of things to accomplish. Once they're defeated, head down the staircase at the end of the room. Take out whichever enemies remain the closest to you and dodge through the Papa's explosive and lunge attacks. Once you've engaged the Papa Feral, back up and don't let yourself get surrounded.

A Papa Feral is hanging out here along with a group of other Ferals. You may want to hack the turret on the ground as you walk into the room. You'll soon see a yellow radioactivity symbol on the ground, which means that it's now time for a real fight. Hack through the yellow door and keep making your way steadily towards the upper-right. Reference our CyberDeck Upgrades page to find the exact location.
#The ascent achievements upgrade
In the Waste Recyling Network is a CyberDeck Upgrade that you can pick up.

Pick up any nearby Upgrade Components and watch out for more Feral's climbing over the railings to ambush you along the way. You'll now need to turn towards the upper-right to continue. Battle through the circular room and move forward. Keep heading to the lower-right towards the Reactor Facilities.Īgainst these weaker enemies, you have a great opportunity to try out any new Augmentations, equipment, and weapons that you might not have had the chance to try yet. The Ferals that you will encounter are going to be very weak to your guns to start with, so you won't have to worry too much about combat just yet. Once there, head towards the tunnel to the south and back into Feral territory. Once in the Arcology, head around towards the right side of the room and ride the elevator down. There will be enemies to take out along the way, so watch out for bounty targets, but most of them should be under your level, so breeze through them. You'll have to head back to the deepStink tier where the first mission takes place, so head to the Arcology.

He's tasked you to reroute power from a tokamak, a fusion reactor. To start, talk to Poone in Serenity Plus.
